Thanks to SMART Board I can involve special activities to my classes. For example musical compositions with the help of programmes called Cubase or Sibelius. The students can understand the principle of origination of music and they can originate the music, too. My students noticed how their work quickened, so we can do more activities in a better quality, and we dont waste time by distributing text or materials. I like to display texts of songs directly on the board and I have them prepared also for the future lessons. Moreover, I can add photos, information about authors, web links etc. to my text and it becomes more interesting for my students, who not only sing, but also subconsciously learn new things. In two years of using the SMART Board I verify the facilitation of my work, for instance during listening tests. Everything is faster, I can start the test and at the same time control the musical instrument or monitor the students. Above that, these tests prepared on SMART Board are amusing and students are not stressed. As a musician, I enjoy working with recording programmes and that´s why I involve also my students in the process of recording songs. These activities are very attractive and my students are very active. The programme Cubase is ideal for this kind of work and it provides me many possibilities. Among facilities of our music classroom pertain for example the keyboard Yamaha Clavinova cvp207, quitars, microphones. Because of these facilites I can make excellent musical compositions. All the advantages of using SMART Board are also used by a school pop-group, making its own projects. According to my opinion, the SMART Board motivates the teacher to think about new original activities for his/her students.
