The bell is ringing. Teacher is entering the classroom, showing the students to sit down by one hand, holding books in another hand. The lesson has started. At first there is examining or testing, next opening books, reading new information, writing notes. This is a short description of a typical lesson at a secondary school. Comenius, Shakespeare and interactive board

To quote Comenius in an article dealing with whiteboards is presumptuous, but after all he was a courageous educator. Indeed, computer virtual reality is not able to fulfill all his demands for teachers and for learning. I have been working with IWB for 6 years now, so there is a brief summary and few comments about this tool in education. Do we really know how kids behave on internet?

All users of the internet are aware a lot of dangers coming from the net. Do we really know how kids behave on internet if they are out of parent and teacher guidance? There is a small poll among kids which was launched during the filmfair Zlín which is specially dedicated to kids. We are quite sure that results can be a good start for teachers and parents to think more about the internet as well as for finding the way how to explain to youngsters how to behave on the net.
